Hi! I am a second year Counseling Psychology Doctoral Student at the University of Kentucky. I grew up in Auburn, Alabama with my parents and two sisters. I got my bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama. I then received my masters degree in Child and Family Development with a specialization in Disability Issues at the University of Georgia. My research interests focus on disability issues and the influence on the family dynamics. I have worked as a research assistant at the Human Development Institute on the Professional Development Framework Research Collaborative. I moved to Lexington, Kentucky with my wonderful husband, Archer. We have a kitten named Maggie that we adore!
